Professors Greg Evans of chemical engineering, Nazir Kherani of electrical and chemical engineering, JavadMostaghimi of mechanical and industrial engineering and Chul Park of mechanical and industrial engineering have been selected to receive 2009 Ontario Professional Engineers Awards by the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers and Professional Engineers Ontario. Presented since 1947, the awards recognize outstanding individuals for engineering excellence and community service. The recipients will be honoured at a gala Nov. 21 at the Toronto Congress Centre.
