Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, Faculty of Medicine

Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, associate professor of global health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, received the 2011 Lombardy Region Peace Prize and was selected as one of the Top 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre for his inspiring work promoting peace and public health.
