Rosie MacLennan: Gold Medallist
On August 4th, alumna Rosie MacLennan became the first Canadian to win a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics – cheered on by throngs of supporters across the university and around the world.
MacLennan, who graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor's degree in Physical Health Education in November, shortly after winning gold in trampoline at the Pan Am Games, is set to return to the University of Toronto this fall to begin pursuing her master’s degree.
